New year, new income report!

Here’s my blogging progression so far for the WHOLE YEAR of 2015! Hell yes for 2015, by the way. It’s been a turning point fo sho’.

  • January 2015: $185.16
  • February 2015: $203.96
  • March 2015: $515.48
  • April 2015: $786.03
  • May 2015: $757.29
  • June 2015: $957.47
  • July 2015: $1,487.82
  • August 2015: $1,735.64
  • September 2015: $1,521.11
  • October 2015: $1,784.43
  • November 2015: $2,391.96
  • December 2015: $3,069.71
  • January 2016: $3,461.03

You can see that in 12 months, my blogging revenue went from $185.16 to $3,461.03 a month. I find this to be solid proof that if you work hard on your blog even part-time, you can turn it into a serious source of income.

January Income Breakdown

Traffic VS. Ad Income

I was happy to hit the 500,000 monthly pageviews mark this month! It seems to me like a significant mark, but when I look at my ad income, it doesn’t really seem to reflect this. To figure out my RPM:

865.09 (revenue) x 1000 = 865090

865090 / 511971 (pageviews) = 1.68927

RPM: $1.69

So for every 1,000 views, I made $1.69 in ad revenue in January.

I think we can do better here, and I’ve been looking into other options.

Get It, Girl!

There’s one major thing I’ve been doing differently these past few months.

The truth is that no one’s going to handle you what you want on a silver platter. If I want something, I have to get it myself. Bloggers have to ask for “raises” too, you know?

I can’t wait for what 2016 is going to bring! I hope everyone had a good 2015. I know mine has had ups and downs, but it’s all good in the end. 🙂
